I hope you take a moment or so

Away from being a genius

Just to enjoy this life you’ve built

It’s something I swear

I’ll leave out all my feelings about all the other things for a moment

You do have something

It’s worth being proud of

I wish you’d see your blinding light

How I do for a moment

In those moments I’m inexplicably back to thinking of you

Maybe it’s just never the right time

But don’t leave things to the right time

The right time never comes

There really should be an epic guitar solo

Not that I’d expect to understand what is and isn’t allowed but
