I opened up the window

And said hello to spring

And said goodbye to winter

The birds chirp, alive awake

The bugs, the deer, the rabbits

Spring has sprung, but I kept winter shuttered here

One day more one day more

As the room fills with spring

And the sun pours in

We say goodbye to winter
