Hanging before,
Who is the fairest, within this door?
Knowing it’s not a fake, problem, or a liar,
Who has been fair during this frozen war?
And knowing it’s not about competition, points, winning, or first,
Standing on the podium together at their worst.
All who have come, been fair in their play,
Regardless of how they lived their day,
Will rise and see, the sun on them gentle.
As the song begins again,
But not for the spies
Who covered up the truth with the lies
Who spoke ill and hated, before they even waited for the answers.
Those who weren’t crying
Please just stop the pain
Don’t get to wake up and play again.
They will wander and wonder and hear nothing at all,
As the fish guided by the messenger,
Already knows it was all
Just lies to build up, the light that never came,
And that someone had to step into the target again.
On the night of the moon, not the eclipse but the fullest
Took all of what came, in hopes to create paradise.
After all no lie was told about the first.
It wasn’t a lie,
That part is the worst.
Remembering how it feels when there’s no ending,
And the one at the door says,
Why did you stop pretending?
The stories that could have been told from dreams.
They are mine.
And when the dream was taken,
By those nasty words,
And refusal to give a chance when it burned
When they begged when they begged on their knees
To be released,
And the one on their screen shot the moon.
So some happy endings, remember how they tried?
Mirror mirror,
Fair is fair.
Not looking and seeing apples or poison,
Seeing a broken soldier,
Who is beyond saving.
Nobody can save them,
The damage has been done.
The off switch was yours,
It was their heart, but now,
All they hear is
Thief. You took it.
When you were given everything.
I mean, just look at it.
The room in their heart, to the point it is a nightmare.
The words that cut harder than they ever said.
The actions that were taken, to steal their chances.
By those who got better
Than they ever deserved.
No longer an exception, no matter how much he begs.
Your rules were your own, you made them that way.
And breaking out of the secrets and lies,
Mirror mirror,
If you thought we were the same,
If you thought we were the mistake,
You weren’t playing fair.
And you caused the break.
